The Cornish Smoke Squad
These supervillain inspired hot sauces, came to shelves in the South West in summer 2023.
The Cornish Larder, a small preserves and condiments producer, came to Falmouth Uni asking for five illustrated labels for their new hot sauce company The Cornish Smoke Squad.
What I came up with
I pitched a supervillain for each flavour, inspired by the flavours cultural origins.
I chose a limited colour palette, so each flavour was easily distinguished on the shelves, and created small motifs of the ingredients that could bring energy to the illustrations, but also could be used in marketing and promotional material.
